Character: Alternate L. Takion Series: Kagihime Monogatari - Eikyuu Alice Rondo Original/Alternate: Original Age: 175 (Though he appears to be in his mid to late 20s) Gender: Male Species: Human Sexuality: Heterosexual (though always up for new experiences)
Appearance: At first glance, Alternate L. Takion appears to be a young man in his mid to late 20s. There is nothing about him besides a slightly outdated mode of dress which gives away his true age. Takion is of an average height, but with striking yellow eyes and pale seafoam green hair pulled back in a ponytail. He wears loose brown and green robes and a puffy green hat. Takion is often seen with a cup of tea.
Personality: Takion can appear to be a kind person when it suits him, and perhaps once upon a time he was. Now, however, he uses kindness merely as a tool to manipulate people. Though very little will ruffle Takion's cool exterior, there are some things which cause his temper to flare up which usually result in shattered teacups. At heart, Takion is a selfish soul who trifles with the affections of young girls, wanting only the book Eternal Alice so that he can wish for immortality for himself and Alice Liddell.
Abilities: Takion has the ability to write his stories into reality. He is also capable of creating small pocket dimensions (which he calls Wonderland Space). Because he resides in a Wonderland Space, Takion has not physically aged. Thankfully, the amazing technology of Econtra now keeps him from developing a sudden onset of old age.
Weakness: Writer's block - Takion's fount of creativity apparently dried up years ago. He wields no weapons and does not fight. Also, too much time outside of Wonderland Space will cause Takion to start aging rapidly. Thus, the Keepers will be able to keep him on a short leash.
History: Alternate L. Takion is his world's Lewis Carroll. It's common knowledge that he wrote the two Alice novels. At a time when he actually was the age he appeared to be, Takion was in love with a very young Alice Liddell. He would always share his stories with her, and because she was privy to Takion's stories, Liddell knew she was loved.
However, Takion began growing distant with Liddell, and the stories stopped. Takion hadn't stopped loving Liddell; he had merely run out of creative energy.
Not knowing this, and fearing that Takion would toss her aside like other girls with whom he'd shared his affections, Liddell planted the idea for a new Alice story in his head - Eternal Alice.
For Takion, the line between reality and fantasy blurred, and Eternal Alice came to exist, but not in book form. Eternal Alice exists as the most precious memories and stories in girls' hearts. Takion lures girls to him and grants them the power to transform and enter Wonderland Space, as well as the key-like weapons needed to unlock the stories in each others' hearts. These girls are the Seekers of Alice, and they must battle each other to protect their own stories and take the stories of their opponents so as to complete the Eternal Alice.
According to Takion's story, whoever holds the completed book will be granted a wish. Takion wants the book for himself so that he can wish for eternal life for himself and Liddell.
When at last the stories of all but one of the Seekers had been taken, Takion ordered Liddell to finish the girl off and complete the book. Before the battle began, however, Liddell turned on Takion. She jammed her key into his heart and was going to unlock it so that all of his years descended on him at once. Before Liddell could make that fatal twist, however, Consulo locked onto Takion and pulled him into Econtra.
